: Get into the holiday spirit with today's new puzzle! Based on a chromolithograph by Joseph Hoover, a Philadelphia printmaker, the image used in this game depicts a small American town on Christmas Eve. Using chromolithography, Hoover was able to produce attractive, colorful prints, like the one in this puzzle, that were still affordable for anyone to use as decoration for home and office. Christmas Eve is the evening or entire day before Christmas Day. Christmas Day is observed around the world, and Christmas Eve is widely observed as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day.
