This year's pumpkin harvest has turned out all right. Lots and lots of pumpkins, winter squashes and gords have been harvested and ready to be stored for winter. Like many fruits and root vegetables stored for the colder months, pumpkins and winter squash prefer a well-ventilated, dry place with a temperature that's between 55 and 60 degrees F and a relative humidity of about 50%. When stored properly, pie pumpkins and winter squash will keep for many months.
